2023, UN AÑO LLENO DE LOGROS EN LA EDUCACIÓN PARA LA PAZ EN ANTIOQUIA

Docentes que participaron del PEP vía WhatsApp en los municipios de Cisneros y Girardota, se interesaron en realizar el programa con los estudiantes y se realizaron 2 talleres presenciales.

En el mes de abril, en Girardota, con la compañía de Mario Velásquez de la Secretaría de Educación, facilitadores y voluntarios, se realizó una jornada con 60 participantes, donde se presentaron temas del proceso de paz que están dentro de la formación académica y que tienen cercanía con el PEP.  También en abril, en Cisneros, se realizó un taller del PEP con 30 estudiantes gestores de paz de la Institución Educativa del municipio.

En mayo 20, conjuntamente con la Secretaría de Educación, se realizó un taller amplio donde se hizo una inducción al PEP a 49 docentes de la Institución Educativa Atanasio Girardot, entre los cuales quedaron capacitados 2 docentes de Ética y Sociales, quienes a partir de julio, iniciaron los talleres del PEP entre los estudiantes. Su decisión de realizarlos radica en el valor que han encontrado en el programa y los enormes vacíos presentes entre los jóvenes en el tema del ser.

En esa misma Institución Educativa se realizó una donación de 52 ejemplares del libro "Cuando el desierto florece" que será usado con grupos rurales y urbanos de la Institución en lecturas interactivas y de reflexión alrededor de las Fábulas.

Entre octubre y noviembre, en la Institución Educativa Sto. Tomás de Aquino, municipio de Guarne, Antioquia, se realizaron los módulos del PEP por vía WhatsApp, beneficiando a más de  240 estudiantes. La profesora Ney Patricia Patiño, lideró en compañía del rector y otros docentes, el desarrollo de los módulos para 7 grupos de estudiantes: Gestores de paz y 6 grupos de sexto grado.

En la Institución Educativa del municipio de Yalí, el profesor Sigifredo Castrillón acompañó a 25 estudiantes de ultimo grado para realizar los módulos del PEP, ingresando a la plataforma educativa de la Secretaría de Educación.

2023, A YEAR FULL OF ACHIEVEMENTS IN PEACE EDUCATION IN ANTIOQUIA

Teachers who participated in the PEP via WhatsApp in the municipalities of Cisneros and Girardota expressed interest in conducting the program with students, leading to the organization of 2 in-person workshops.

In April, in Girardota, with the collaboration of Mario Velasquez from the Department of Education, facilitators, and volunteers, a session was held with 60 participants, addressing topics related to the peace process that are part of academic training and have a connection with the PEP. Another PEP workshop was conducted in April with 30 peace-building students from the educational institution in the Cisneros municipality.

On May 20, a comprehensive workshop was held jointly with the Department of Education, introducing the PEP to 49 teachers from the Atanasio Girardot Educational Institution. Two Ethics and Social Studies teachers were trained, and from July onwards, they initiated the PEP workshops with students. Their decision to do so was based on the value they found in the program and the significant gaps present among young people regarding the self.

In the same educational institution, 52 copies of the book "Cuando el desierto florece" (When the Desert Blooms) were donated for use in interactive readings and reflection on Fables with rural and urban groups within the institution.

Between October and November, PEP modules were conducted via WhatsApp at the Santo Tomas de Aquino Educational Institution in Guarne municipality, Antioquia, benefiting over 240 students. Educator Ney Patricia Patiño, along with the principal and other teachers, led the development of the modules for 7 groups of students: Peace Builders and 6 groups of sixth graders.

Educator Sigifredo Castrillón accompanied 25 final-year students of the educational institution of Yali municipality to complete the PEP modules, accessing the Department of Education's educational platform.
