THE PEP ENDS FOR THE FIRST GROUP OF ASSISTANTS OF THE CENTER OF REEDUCATION OF THE MINOR OFFENDER

Voluntarios, administradores y estudiantes del Módulo 1 celebraron juntos la culminación del Programa de Educación para la Paz en el Centro de Reeducación del Menor Infractor El Oasis, en Barranquilla.

Volunteers, administrators and students of Module 1 celebrated together the culmination of the Peace Education Program at the El Oasis Minor Offender Reeducation Center in Barranquilla.

Compartiendo alegremente una torta con helado, los estudiantes expresaron su agradecimiento por haberles dado a conocer el mensaje de paz de Prem Rawat.

Happily sharing a cake with ice cream, the students expressed their gratitude for having announced Prem Rawat's message of peace.

Hubo expresiones como: “Mi vida ha cambiado desde el primer video”; “He aprendido sobre la dignidad”; “Ahora puedo dar claridad a mi familia y amigos”; “La paz está adentro de nosotros mismos”, “Es una clase totalmente excelente”; “Hay un tesoro oculto en nosotros, tenemos que aprender a sacarlo a flote”; “Aprendí que nunca debo dejar de soñar”; “ La paz interior genera armonía y amor a tu alrededor”.

There were expressions such as: "My life has changed since the first video"; "I have learned about dignity"; "Now I can give clarity to my family and friends"; "Peace is within ourselves", "It is a totally excellent class"; "There is a hidden treasure within us, we have to learn how to bring it out"; “I learned that I should never stop dreaming”; "Inner peace generates harmony and love around you."

Ya familiarizados con los valores inspiradores que se les presentan en el curso, los internos hablan de claridad, agradecimiento, conciencia, entendimiento, pero sobretodo, de esperanza en que con las enseñanzas impartidas en el PEP puedan prepararlos para ser personas de bien para ellos mismos, sus familias y la sociedad, una vez culminen su período de privación de la libertad.

Already familiar with the inspiring values ​​that are presented to them in the course, the inmates speak of clarity, gratitude, conscience, understanding, but above all, of hope that with the teachings taught in the PEP they can be prepared to be good people for themselves, for their families and for society, once they finish their period of deprivation of liberty.
