LA ALEGRÍA DE PRESENTAR EL PEP A EXPRISIONEROS QUE SE ESTÁN REINTEGRANDO A LA SOCIEDAD

THE JOY OF PRESENTING THE PEP TO FORMER PRISONERS WHO ARE RETURNING TO SOCIETY

Miguel Ángel Delgado forma parte de un equipo de voluntarios de Bogotá que presenta el PEP en Casa Libertad, una institución encargada de brindar capacitación a los prisioneros que recién se reintegran a la sociedad.

Sobre su experiencia colaborando con la presentación del PEP, Miguel Ángel dice:

“Al reflexionar acerca de la oportunidad de presentar el PEP en las prisiones, me he dado cuenta de la efectividad de este programa, ya que al ingresar a los sitios más inhóspitos para un ser humano, allí, he visto la felicidad y la alegría de vivir... y cuando he regresado de allí hacia mi familia o mis labores diarias, no he visto afectada mi alegría de vivir sino que por el contrario, el llevar el PEP a las cárceles se constituye en un motivo más para sentir amor y gratitud por esta experiencia”.

Miguel Ángel Delgado is one of the volunteers from Bogotá who have been presenting the PEP at Casa Libertad, an institution the mission of which is to provide support to former prisoners who have just reintegrated into society.

About his experience collaborating with the presentation of the PEP, Miguel Ángel says:

“What an opportunity to present the PEP in prisons! I have witnessed the effectiveness of this program. When entering the most inhospitable places for a human being, I have seen in these people the happiness and joy of living. After facilitating the workshops in this unattractive place, when I return home or to my daily job, my joy of living is even more. Taking the PEP to prisons constitutes one more reason to feel love and gratitude for this experience”.
