NUEVOS PROFESORES DEL ATLÁNTICO SE ENTRENAN COMO FACILITADORES DEL PEP EN SUS ESCUELAS

NEW TEACHERS FROM DEPARTMENT OF ATLANTICO HAVE BEEN TRAINED AS PEP FACILITATORS IN THEIR SCHOOLS

Continuando la labor iniciada en febrero de 2018, un grupo de voluntarios de la Fundación Prem Rawat realizaron el pasado mes de abril la capacitación de 23 nuevos profesores de municipios del departamento y 120 estudiantes de magisterio de la Escuela Normal, quienes realizan actualmente sus prácticas en escuelas rurales.

“La paz no está en la mente, sino en el corazón”, “Para transformar el mundo, primero transfórmate a ti mismo”, “Tu más grande tesoro es la paz interior” fueron algunas de las conclusiones compartidas por los asistentes al evento de dos días, quienes ahora ya están entrenados como facilitadores de los talleres del Programa de Educación para la Paz en sus escuelas.

Algunos de los educadores asistentes habían solicitado ser entrenados como facilitadores del programa después de ver el éxito del mismo en otras instituciones del departamento.

Continuing the work begun in February 2018, a group of volunteers from the Prem Rawat Foundation carried out last April the training of 23 new teachers from municipalities of the department and 120 teacher students from the Escuela Normal, who are currently doing their internships in rural schools.

"Peace is not in the mind, but in the heart", "To transform the world, first transform yourself", "Your greatest treasure is inner peace" were some of the expressions shared by those attending the event. two days, who are now trained as facilitators of the Peace Education Program workshops in their schools.

Some of the attending educators had requested to be trained as program facilitators after seeing the success of the program in other institutions in the department.
