SE PRORROGA EL PEP POR DOS AÑOS MÁS EN LAS ESCUELAS DEL ATLÁNTICO

PEP IS EXTENDED FOR TWO YEARS MORE AT THE ATLANTICO SCHOOLS

En los videos arriba, profesoras del Instituto La Inmaculada de Campo de la Cruz comentan sobre los beneficios del PEP en sus vidas

El convenio firmado con la Gobernación del Atlántico para presentar el PEP en todos los colegios que dependen de la gobernación se acaba de prorrogar por dos años más, hasta el 2022. Se está iniciando la presentación de talleres virtuales.

La gobernación ha ampliado la cobertura del programa, con el fin de que pueda llegar a diferentes instancias del departamento. Ya se empezaron a hacer reuniones virtuales de sensibilización para los funcionarios de la Secretaria de Educación. Se espera incluir también a todo el personal administrativo de la Secretaría, e incluso a personeros, líderes estudiantiles y padres de familia. También se ha programado entrenar a nuevos profesores que desean unirse al programa.

El plan actual se inició en mayo y concluirá a finales del año.

The agreement signed with the Atlantic Government to present the PEP in all public schools has just been extended for two more years, until 2022. The presentation of virtual workshops is beginning.

The government has expanded the coverage of the program, so that it can reach different levels of the department. Virtual awareness-raising meetings have already begun for officials of the Secretary of Education. It is also expected to include all the administrative staff of the Secretary, and even representatives, student leaders and parents. New teachers who want to join the program have also been scheduled to train.

The current plan started in May and will conclude at the end of the year.
