HASTA 2021, SE HAN PRESENTADO SEIS CICLOS DEL PEP EN LA FUNDACION UNIVERSITARIA UNIHORIZONTE

AS OF 2021, SIX SESSIONS OF PEP HAVE BEEN PRESENTED AT THE FOUNDATION UNIHORIZONTE UNIVERSITY

Desde el primer semestre de 2020, el PEP ha sido incluido dentro del curriculum universitario.

Cada semestre, la universidad abre un cupo de 20 personas para que los estudiantes que ingresan a la universidad puedan inscribirse en este curso - si así lo desean - como una materia más y obtener créditos.

El PEP se ha innovado en busca de que sea algo más que un taller semanal de crecimiento interior. Con este propósito, se invita a los participantes a reflexionar durante la semana sobre lo aprendido en el taller anterior y a expresar sus vivencias de manera creativa, ya sea a través de un escrito, un dibujo o cualquier otro tipo de expresión que compartirán al inicio del taller siguiente.

El Rector de la institución, Carlos Eduardo Rodriguez Pulido, expresó su agradecimiento a quienes hicieron posible la realización de los talleres, enviándoles el siguiente mensaje:

"Quiero reiterar mi agradecimiento por haber brindado el espacio y tiempo para que nuestros estudiantes puedan conocer sobre el Programa de Educación para la Paz. Estoy seguro de que en el futuro, a través de estos encuentros con los estudiantes, realmente generaremos la cultura de pertenencia y paz".

Since the first semester of 2020, the PEcP has been included in the university curriculum.

Each semester, the university opens a quota of 20 people so that students entering the university can enroll in this optional course and obtain credits.

The PEP has been innovated in order to make it more than just a weekly workshop on inner growth. With this purpose, the participants are invited to reflect during the week on what they learned in the previous workshop and to express their experiences in a creative way, either through writing, a drawing or any other type of expression to be shared with their classmates at the beginning of the next workshop.

University’s principal, Carlos Eduardo Rodriguez Pulido, expressed his gratitude to those who made the workshops possible, sending them the following message:

"I want to reiterate my gratitude for providing the space and time for our students to learn about the Peace Education Program. I hope that, through these workshops with the students, we will truly generate a sense of belonging and peace".
